Putting in the Work

Mounting St. Joseph taught me valuable skills in working with unique pieces and creating high-level mounts that are tough enough to withstand earthquakes

My final project was to make a mount for any object. Being a huge Star Wars fan, I chose a Boba Fett helmet made by Disney. All parts were cut, painted, and upholstered by hand. A pivot piece attached to a steel post allows for the helmet to be customized to whatever angle.

Since I finished early, I also made a lightsaber stand for The Black Series Rey Lightsaber

The ODDY Test Mount that I created for conservators. It consists of three-pieces, a mount for the coupons, a spacer, and a mount for the camera. Without interfering with the lens adjustment, the mount holds the camera in the same exact place while the spacer holds it at the same distance, ensuring that even if it is stored or moved, the exact angles are taken every time.
